Rhus Tox 6C homeopathic pillules for cats and dogs are one of the most popular homoepathic remedies used to aid stiff joints as well as itches and skin complaints. Rhus Tox is derived from rhus toxicondendron more commonly known as poison ivy and is native to North America.

The fresh leaves, contain toxicodendric acid, the medicinal use of which was discovered by a French physician in the late eighteenth century, when he discovered that a patient's chronic rash had been cured as a result of accidental poison ivy exposure. He went on to use the the plant to treat skin diseases, paralysis, and rheumatic complaints in other patients.

Rhus Toxicodendron for medicinal use, is gathered just before sunset as the plant flowers shortly afterwards and is then at it's most toxic. It has a strong effect on the nerves, mucous membranes, and skin the parts of the body affected by rheumatic conditions and skin complaints.

It combines well with herbal medicines for optimal results.

Administration: Give one 4 or 5 times daily until condition is improved, then reduce to one, 3 times per day for as long as is required.
