In Japan, the leaves of the banana plant have been a source for high quality textiles since at least the 13th Century. Softened and then woven into a highly durable and close fitting weave, banana leaf is also popular for garden furntiure and conservatory chairs, tables and pretty much anything else!

Sturdy and practical, this generous sized woven cat bed will fit in seemlessly into existing conservatory decor, so even when your cat isn't snoozing in it - which we don't think won't be very often! - it acts as a small statement piece on its own. With a very contented puss in residence it helps to make your cat a feature of your room - much more soothing to look at than the usual boring coffee table. The thick fleece mattress is fully washable and removable, making it easy to keep clean and banana leaf is also a great stropping material for claws, so puss may make a few marks on it of his own, but it should help keep him off your existing furniture!
