Soft Protection's Porcupine Brush is great for medium, long and double coated dogs, particularly those that have sensitive skins or skin conditions where a metal pinned Slicker Brush can be too harsh.

Available in medium and large size they are designed for larger dogs and have the same soft grip, ergonomic handle to help prevent the callouses and repetitive strain injuries that grooming a moving mountain of six inch thick fur for four hours solid can induce.

Long flexible plastic blunt ended pins drive deep into the coat to massage skin and remove the soft undercoat that causes matting. Each pin is surrounded by shorter bristles that lift debris out and distribute skin oils evenly over the coat, helping to leave your dog's coat soft and manageable and prevent further tangles.

A great brush for those shaggy Heinz 57 dogs, Afghans and Collies that have a finer long soft coat that can be prone to splitting when using harsher brushes.
