The Multivet Spray Commander is a remote control activated spray collar, for the training and eliminating of problematic behavior in dogs, such as chasing cars, bikes, cats, livestock, digging, jumping up and aggression. Safe and effective, spray collars resolve problems faster than shock collars and without pain or fear.

A fearful dog, a dog that is under stimulated or displays 'over the top behaviour' is not receptive to training or learning. It is important to use any spray collar as part of a reschooling programme and the most important part of that is to isolate why your dog does what he does. Adequate exercise, a good quality balanced diet and consistency in training are the most influencial factors in dog behaviour.

The Spray Commander offers a painless and harmless distraction from unwanted behaviour that can be delivered at the time it occurs. Timing is crucial so that your dog receives the spray which works by distracting him by targeting his sense of hearing, touch, sigh and sound at the time he is performing the unwanted action.

Through repetition he begins to associate the spray with the behaviour. It is important as with all training to use reward and praise and the Spray Commander also features a sound cue that allows you to issue a signal to your dog that a reward is about to follow - similar to the clicker training principle. This is a great feature that allows you to use it as a reward as well a distraction tool and perfect for schooling in open areas and off the lead.
