Pet Supply Theft

A woman in the US city of Fenton, Missouri was recently arrested on the unusual charge of pet supply theft, although she is unlikely to face conviction on the charges. Fenton police arrested the woman after they received a complaint of retail fraud from a pet supply store which accused the woman of hiding pet clothing and supplies in her purse.
Officers waited outside of the pet store for the woman to exit with her 2 year old son. They ordered her to open her purse and found that she had stuffed $136 worth of pet supplies inside of it. They took the 32 year old Holly resident back to the police station where she admitted to stealing the products. She was then charged and ordered to appear in court.
